Children and dogs
There are a lot of things, which, if we don't know too many about, our contact with a dog, especially a foreign one, can lead to unpleasant events. It is well known that children are the most attracted to dogs. What a lot of people don't know, is that, the way the child behaves to the dog matters a lot. There was always a special, privileged relationship between children and dogs. Maybe the first steps when taming a dog were done because of the instinctive attraction between babies and puppies. Almost every child, when he sees a dog for the first time, is fascinated and wants to get closer to it. In the same time, almost every puppy gets close happily to the child that says something to him or does a friendly gesture. This wonderful relationship is maintained if the grown-ups "controlls" the partnership impose the child and the dog hierarchical levels, rules and limits of the game and watch their safety.

The adoption of a dog is a decision taken quite frequently in many families, usually "under pressure" from the child's insistence. You should know that a dog may only have a beneficial influence on your child. The optimal age at which a child understands and undertakes full responsibility for tending to a pet is of 8-12 years.
